I’ve finally gotten a chance to post this update. I know I haven’t been very active about updating my LJ much this year (so this goes more towards my friends here); but I was active in icontests, yu-gi-oh related communities and editing WikiFic up until the end of May or so.
I haven’t had a connection to the internet for the past month. I’ve been able to spare a few minutes at the library after my volunteer shifts but that’s only to get to the essentials; like updating the playlists at Youtube which are linked at WikiFic or my important emails. Why I don’t have an internet connection available to me, is a long story…

The most major thing going on right now is that my family and I are going on a trip to Europe and India from July 2nd to August 6th. We’re pretty busy getting ready for that at the moment. It’s our big summer vacation trip before my sister and I go off to college. Speaking of which…

Since I was a senior this year, I applied to colleges. I didn’t apply to too many since my parents were pretty set on me staying home. I got into UC Davis, University of the Pacific, San Jose State (only CSU I applied to), Academy of Art University and I was wait listed for Santa Clara but they eventually accepted me- so, as of now I am going to Santa Clara University. :D (private and expensive but totally worth it)

High school graduation was on June 14th, 2008. It was great. It didn’t hit me that I this is truly the last time we will all be together as the Class of ’08 until we were all seated and the valedictorians were giving their speeches (they were very amusing btw!). The girls gowns were white, and the boys black. I wore a black and white dress underneath. We took pictures and went out to dinner to Olive Garden. I’m going to miss everyone, but senior it self was not the most pleasant of experiences for me.

I had a lot of trouble staying focused and was distracted a lot; almost as if I was avoiding everything. And in all honesty, it was showing academically. I was rushing to catch up with work at the end of the year. On a similar note, I went to go see a therapist (finally XD jk! -I’m not mental, I swear) and she pegged me as having an Adjustment Disorder. I can think of a lot of reasons why this could be, but that’s an extremely long (and self-exploratory) story. I’ve only had an evaluation session so far, so I don’t know too much about it yet myself but if you’re interested, I recommend you look up Adjustment Disorder on Wikipedia or something.

So before this turns into a super long entry: I’m in the process of reading the seventh Harry Potter book. (couldn’t last summer because of AP summer homework) I’m on the chapter following “The Sacking of Severus Snape” I believe. But my mom currently has it because she was afraid I’d stay up late reading it. :P Quite sad, considering I’m eighteen. But then again, so are a lot of other things.
I’ve also got a few ideas for fan fiction (I haven’t written much since my Lord of the Rings days). One of them is a Jounouchi Katsuya centric oneshot (maybe with some Kaiba Seto in it, but whether it will be hints of puppyshipping or not, is uncertain) and the other is an Azureshipping (Seto/Anzu) piece (with lots of elegant scenery in mind :D). An idea for a Draco/Harry (Drarry) piece came to me while I was out walking; but funny thing is, I’m not really into Harry Potter fan fiction let alone Harry/Draco. Lol I’ve probably read one H/D piece in my life.

But whether I’ll even get time to write any of these, I do not know.

I desperately want an new LJ layout and I need to make some changes to my userinfo…

As usual, I do wish I had more time (and access) to communicate more with my online friends (you know who you are!) and I think of you all more then you know; but I’m not going to make any promises as to when I’ll comment or write again (or post pictures which I never seem to get to) because I’ve learned I just don’t have the time to keep them.
